About The Position

Position Summary: The Financial Analyst supports Transformational Programs by leveraging extensive accounts payable and SAP experience to drive financial solutions, ensure compliance, and deliver actionable insights. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in high-volume invoice processing, vendor management, and financial operations within SAP environments. The Financial Analyst role will provide dedicated support for Transformational Programs, ensuring SAP-driven financial solutions and problem-solving strategies are aligned with program objectives and deliverables. This role will provide advanced financial planning, reporting, and governance oversight with a heavy focus on SAP systems. This role supports SAP functions, compliance with governance standards, and supports program leadership with actionable insights. The analyst will leverage SAP modules (FI, CO, PS) and related tools to streamline processes, resolve complex financial issues, and support financial and sourcing functions for the Transformational Programs.

Requirements

  • SAP Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP FI, CO, PS modules.
  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to analyze complex financial data and solve problems proactively.
  • Technical Tools: Proficiency in SAP navigation, and Coupa experience.
  • Communication: Ability to translate financial insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with evolving requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service skills and experience.
  • SAP certification or equivalent experience (at least 5 years).
  • Coupa Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • SAP Financial Management
  • Utilize SAP FI, CO, and related modules for financial accounting, controlling, and project tracking.
  • Manage purchase orders, accruals, and vendor invoices using SAP and automated invoice systems.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies, clear blocked invoices, and collaborate with purchasing to ensure timely vendor payments.
  • Support project tracking and WBS/IO creation in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Financial Analysis & Problem Solving
  • Maintain and reconcile accruals and vendor accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and use standardized templates for financial evaluations and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex payment processing issues, including GRIR and account status inquiries.
  • Ensure audit-ready documentation and compliance with internal controls.
  • Transformational Program Support
  • Provide financial problem-solving expertise to address challenges within program scope.
  • Align SAP configurations and reporting with program milestones and governance standards.
  • Support vendor management and milestone tracking for large-scale programs.
  • Reporting & Insights
  • Generate and interpret financial reports in support of the portfolio coordinators and controller for the Transformational Programs.
  • Support the data sets, findings and recommendations to Controller for leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Governance & Compliance
  • Validate adherence to portfolio governance standards and internal controls.
  • Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.
