About The Position

The Financial Analyst will participate in the development and monitoring of the financial activities of their designated region. They will be responsible for the oversight and management of their region’s Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, creating budget efficiencies, financial reports, and effective expense management. The Financial Analyst should have excellent attention to detail, the ability to analyze and present complex financial data, and communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field or comparable experience.
  • 3 years’ experience in Finance or Accounting related position.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and P&L management
  • Experience working in a corporate finance environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial modeling software).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • An advanced degree (e.g., MBA or CPA) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly review the division’s P&L statements to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify and correct any discrepancies or errors in collaboration with the corporate finance team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to hold departments accountable for specific budgets.
  • Track and monitor departmental spending against budgets.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to department heads on budget management.
  • Analyze each line item on the P&L to identify opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancements.
  • Work with departments to implement cost-effective measures and optimize spending.
  • Create and maintain financial reports specific to the division’s budget and profitability forecasting.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to the division president and other senior leaders.
  • Develop financial models to forecast future financial performance.
  • Serve as the liaison between the division and the corporate finance team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication of financial data and reports.
  • Assist with the implementation of corporate financial policies and procedures within the division.
  • Assist in developing long-term financial strategies for the division.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify and evaluate financial risks and opportunities.
