Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• 1+ years' experience in an accounting role with increasing responsibility.
• Demonstrated organizational skills, with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound written and oral communication skills; must be able to write and understand routine reports, follow oral and written instructions, and speak effectively.
• Experience in using Microsoft Office tools, especially with advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate to and work with diverse groups of people.
• Must have knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment and be familiar with commonly used email, Internet, word processing, databases and spreadsheets.
• Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and materials.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Excel experience (Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Power Tools, etc.).
• Handling large data sets in Excel or SQL for data analysis, cleanup and computations.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of GAAP principles and their application.

Responsibilities

• Creates reports maintains reports on tariffs, NRE, PPV, Accounts Receivable and inventory for internal and external use to ensure liability associated is being addressed.
• Conducts analysis on margin to address any potential unfavorable threats or areas of improvement to corporate profitability.
• Provides internal quotes for review and implementation with customers.
• Maintains material costing in system for both standard and quoted pricing.
• Prepares journal entries and reconciliations for period end close as needed.
• Prepares reports, graphs, and other analysis tools as required by management.
• Attends meetings as needed to support cross functional team objectives.
• Performs other duties, as assigned, to achieve corporate and departmental objectives.
