About The Position

The Financial Analyst is responsible for analysing financial performance of New Generation Systems (NGS) projects, through reporting monthly actuals and preparing financial forecasts. This role supports NGS financial management by evaluating KPIs, project financials, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field from four-year College or university.
• Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
• Knowledge of financial forecasting/modeling and cost analysis.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, accounting, database, financial management, spreadsheet, word processing, presentation and email software.
• SAP knowledge and experience preferred.
• Financial forecasting system and database experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Project accounting principles a PLUS.
• Knowledge of Python and VBA skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the project and commercial teams to ensure the achievement of financial KPI targets.
• Monitor and update periodical cash flow forecasts working with project financial analysts, project and supply chain managers to ensure data accuracy.
• Participate in project meetings to provide financial insights and update project forecasts.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, ensuring data accuracy.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing the required financial documentation.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities to report to management.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project financial policies and procedures.
• Participate in team meetings to standardize NGS Finance processes and procedures.
• Developing project financial forecasts and plans including income statement, cash flow and balance sheet.
• Prepare financial presentations for key management meetings.
