About The Position

As a Staff Financial Analyst supporting the F-35 Material Finance organization, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance, visibility, and strategic decision-making across one of the world’s most advanced defense programs. Reporting to the F-35 Manager of Material Finance, this role provides high-impact financial analysis, forecasting, and performance management support to ensure accurate financial execution and strong business outcomes. You will work closely with program leadership, supply chain, business management, and cross-functional partners to transform complex financial data into actionable insights that support operational excellence and long-term program success. You are a highly analytical and results-driven finance professional who thrives in fast-paced, data-intensive environments. You bring strong financial acumen and the ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for leadership. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Collaborative by nature, you build strong relationships with cross-functional partners and enjoy working closely with program teams to drive performance improvements. Requirements

  • Experience in Earned Value Management System Software
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products; advanced MS Excel skills
  • Experienced communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Financial analysis or cost management experience
  • Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 10 years of professional experience, or 8 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities, including variance analysis, trend identification, funding needs assessment, and risk and opportunity evaluation.
  • Establish and maintain performance management budgets and financial baselines to support program execution and decision-making.
  • Consolidate and integrate data from multiple financial systems to develop actionable business insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Develop forward-looking analytics and trend models to inform financial strategy, material planning, and operational priorities.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to program and business leadership to support sound financial and operational decisions.
  • Maintain strong data integrity and compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial reporting standards.
  • Support business management, program management, Control Account Managers (CAMs), proposal teams, supply chain, and other internal customers as needed.
  • Respond to ad hoc financial requests and customer needs with timely, high-quality analysis and reporting.
