About The Position

This position will support the FP&A team in performing financial and analytical support including data analysis, modeling, ROI calculations, reporting, assistance in preparation of presentations and participation in the forecasting and budgeting process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • 5+ years of financial and analytical experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment and/or 5+ years of experience supporting a sales organization, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
  • Familiarity with Oracle systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all levels of a matrix organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate clearly and concisely with various levels of management.
  • Self-motivated with intellectual curiosity and a business, analytical and execution mindset.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and have a high proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Spreadsheet Server, Essbase, Power BI strongly desired.

  • Proficient in financial analysis techniques including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).
  • Experience in forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Skilled in data analysis using tools like Microsoft Excel, Spreadsheet Server, Essbase, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate business performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and variances, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports to management and other stakeholders.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to enhance understanding of financial performance.
  • Support the month-end and quarter-end close processes by providing financial data and analysis.
  • Collaborate with business units to provide financial insights and recommendations that align with organizational objectives.
  • Participate in strategic projects, such as evaluating new business opportunities, cost optimization initiatives, or capital investment decisions.
  • Perform variance analysis in performance and expenses.
  • Assist auditors, both internal and external, by ensuring prompt responses to data requests and inquiries.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes and reporting systems.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies and external regulations.
  • Leverage financial tools and technology to enhance efficiency and analytical capabilities.
