About The Position

Exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast paced finance team in QCT’s Compute Business Unit. This position will focus on overseeing the pricing and analysis of the PC (Personal Computing) business line. This includes building and supporting financial models, analyzing and reporting on key drivers of financial performance, and providing pricing support across multiple stakeholders including Sales, Product Management, FP&A, Engineering, and Business Development. The ideal candidate has a strong background finance background and familiarity with large, matrixed organizations – Semiconductor or Tech Industry experience is a plus. This is a great opportunity in a high visibility role to provide analysis to the executive team while partnering with other finance and business organizations across the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial modeling and business analysis on deal negotiations including revenue, COGS, and margin impact to Product Management and Business Development team
  • Present findings and recommendations to upper management to support long term financial strategy
  • Perform periodic variance analysis on pricing & incentive structures in-line with accounting procedures (actual vs budget, claim vs accrual, etc.)
  • Tracking incentive deals system update and approval process to make sure all deals are updated in the system by deadline and in compliance with SOX control
  • Contribute to business unit forecasting of revenue, pricing, and gross margin by customer and product line for lo
  • Build, maintain, and publish executive level dashboards with key insights using Tableau, Power BI, or other applicable tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the finance organization to craft consistent reporting and messaging
  • Ad hoc analysis to provide decision support for key business initiatives and special projects.
