What this role looks like: Finance and Business Operations lead for Navy Reentry Production, Deployed Systems Support, and Flight Test programs. The mission of the Navy Reentry Programs Finance & Business Operations (F&BO) team is to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional products and innovative business solutions while inspiring team member engagement and growth. In support of this objective, Navy Reentry F&BO is seeking a finance lead interested in joining a high impact, cross-functional team, with a continual focus on innovation and process improvement. Responsibilities include providing guidance to up to 3 finance analysts, as well as partnering with program leadership and CAMs. This individual will also be responsible for collaborating with the FBM Contract Integration team to ensure EVMS compliance of the contract and will assist with DCMA joint surveillance and integrate with the customer on Integrated Baseline Reviews. Looking for an energetic individual with demonstrated leadership capabilities and established financial analysis skills. Must have a passion for innovation, and an ability to support and influence others to complete assignments on schedule.

Requirements

  • Experience in program finance or government contracting or anything else related
  • Experience owning forecasts or EACs or financial reporting cycles or anything else related
  • Ability to partner with cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities
  • Advanced financial modeling capability and Excel skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of various contract types (i.e. CPIF, CPFF, CPFF-LOE)
  • Strong understanding of program financial drivers (cost, schedule, technical impacts)
  • Ability to move beyond consolidation to driver-based analysis and insights
  • Proven track record of influencing decisions and challenging assumptions
  • Experience identifying and managing financial risks and opportunities proactively
  • Strong communication skills; able to translate complex financials into clear insights for leadership
  • Continuous improvement mindset; experience enhancing forecasting accuracy or financial processes
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and take ownership of outcomes
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with 8+ years of related experiences
  • Currently active TS clearance
