About The Position

Exciting opportunity to join Qualcomm’s QGOV Finance organization. Qualcomm Government Technologies (QGOV) provides transformative, trustworthy, mission-focused wireless solutions and services designed to improve our government’s capabilities. QGOV is currently seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on professional proposal experience who are looking for a unique opportunity to join our pricing team. Candidate experience should include: Reviewing RFPs and working with cross-functional proposal teams to develop proposals for both the government and commercial customers Developing cost and price estimates for complex engineering development efforts Working with supply chain to develop Bill of Materials Providing financial support and advice to the proposal team members Developing cost and price volumes in support of proposal submittals Presenting all financial elements of each proposal to different levels of management Supporting all financial post-proposal submittal activities, including customer fact finding and inquires, and negotiations A successful candidate will possess the following characteristics: Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Excellent communication skills Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities Independent critical thinking skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Effective team player Experience with process improvements Proactive, engaged, self-starter and motivated to succeed Applicants selected must be a U.S. citizen and must meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Government security clearance Please click below for Eligibility Requirements for Security Clearance http://www.dcsa.mil/mc/pv/mbi/gicp/ This role requires full-time onsite work in San Diego, CA (5 days per week).

  • 3+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.

  • Adaptable and flexible to changing business environments, experience working in a matrixed global organization
