About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst at PRIDE Industries plays a crucial role in supporting the company's financial objectives by working closely with management to define strategic business goals and develop key performance indicators. This position requires a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and data analytics, with a focus on optimizing performance metrics and providing insightful financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Five plus years of progressive professional experience in financial reporting, forecasting, planning and analysis, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of federal government contracting is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in creating financial reports, narrative analyses, and presentations with graphical representations; business intelligence and/or data visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Highly analytical orientation with the ability to translate business or financial scenarios into quantifiable representations.
  • Proficient in using advanced analytical features of spreadsheet software (MS Excel).
  • Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to establish priorities and solve a wide range of operational and strategic management issues.
  • High degree of computer literacy in specialized software related to accounting operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support short and long-term planning.
  • Act as lead financial analyst responsible for financial reporting package in support of the operations teams.
  • Lead the annual forecasting process and monthly/quarterly forecast updates, ensuring timely communication and delivery of financial packages.
  • Support the design and implementation of dashboards based on business needs.
  • Perform monthly/quarterly variance analysis.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and financial modeling to support the CFO and management.
  • Establish reconciliation procedures to ensure report accuracy and completeness.
  • Support month-end close activities by completing journal entries and analysis.
  • Develop policies and procedures and support systems implementation projects.
  • Perform extensive data analysis and complex calculations.
  • Support the design and implementation of KPI and variance reporting as needed.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
