About The Position

Primary purpose: The Financial Analyst, Sr., is responsible for various financial analysis and process controls, including those for the Company’s construction entity. This role will be a key member of the Planning & Analysis team and work closely with a wide variety of organizations to perform essential functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience actively involved in a relevant and related role
  • Must have a fundamental understanding of accounting and financial principles
  • Intermediate level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel)
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are critical
  • Must be able to work with confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
  • Must demonstrate effective communication skills
  • Must be dependable with a stable work history
  • Consistent ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays as needed

Responsibilities

  • Maintain monthly capital project forecasts
  • Coordinate with and assist cost center owners with forecast updates
  • Maintain monthly revenue (construction entity) and expense forecasts
  • Prepare AFEs for capital and expense projects
  • Maintain detailed records related to RFPs, project costing, and bid analysis
  • Perform billing and analysis for monthly activity
  • Create monthly post-billing reports
  • Provide insights into financial performance and project status
  • Build out and maintain KPI dashboards and summaries for management review
  • Prepare data requests as needed for internal and external auditors
  • Assure adherence to applicable customer and supplier contract
  • Assist with preparation of the monthly earnings and forecast report
  • Provide financial analysis and data trend analysis
  • Compile and build metrics around combined financial and operational data points
  • Prepare financial analyses and assist with other ad hoc projects as requested
  • Assist with the company-wide budget process
  • Assist with system testing, implementation, and maintenance as needed
  • Interact with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders with tact, courtesy, and professionalism
  • Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance
  • Will work non-traditional hours as needed
  • Maintain a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the public
