These capabilities guide how all employees contribute to our shared success across Mission Technologies.SummaryUnder the direct supervision of the Project Control Supervisor, the Project Controller supports the planning, budgeting, tracking, analysis, and reporting of multiple projects of varying size, complexity, and contract type. Working independently and as part of a collaborative project control team, this role partners closely with Program Managers to define project goals, monitor progress, and recommend actions to ensure successful performance. The position interfaces regularly with Program/Project Managers, technical staff, contracts, finance, accounts receivable, subcontract management, and procurement teams. A hybrid work schedule is available.

Requirements

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Working knowledge of contract management software and relevant applications
  • Intermediate proficiency with Excel and MS Office, and working knowledge of relevant financial or project management tools
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Prior experience working with DoD government contracts is required

Responsibilities

  • Provide cost, schedule, and funding planning, reporting, and analysis for Program Managers, including developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Basis of Estimates (BOEs), and time phased budgets and schedules
  • Assist with project setup in accordance with contract terms and requirements
  • Prepare accurate program financial Estimates at Complete (EAC) and meet required submission deadlines
  • Enter and update corporate forecasts for assigned programs
  • Identify project risks and opportunities and support resolution efforts with PM, Contracts, Procurement, and Finance
  • Review and assess contract modifications; advise the program team on financial and performance impacts
  • Conduct analytical reviews and verify cost reporting accuracy
  • Prepare clear, complete variance analyses and financial reports
  • Produce required financial CDRLs and ensure customer deliverables are timely and compliant
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed by the PMO or leadership
  • Monitor funding status and provide timely notifications and updates
  • Support accounts receivable and billing processes; track unbilled issues and coordinate resolution
  • Prepare subcontractor and vendor accruals in accordance with GAAP and internal policies
  • Ensure revenue and profit are recognized in alignment with approved EACs
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley, FAR, and company financial policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
