Requirements

  • Knowledge: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables, Power BI preferred
  • Proficiency in accounting, standard costing, and financial analysis
  • Flexible, self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Detail oriented with strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement
  • Team-oriented with ability to interact with all levels of employees in a professional and positive manner
  • Results driven individual with a track record to support
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Project management skills, organized, ability to multitask with careful attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1+ years' finance and accounting experience - preferably for a large corporation
  • Experience leading/managing projects highly desired
  • Experience within a global manufacturing organization with multiple reporting units preferred
  • Strong proficiency Microsoft Excel required
  • Previous SAP experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing Month-end Close and Reporting Month-end close accruals and other journal entries for manufacturing and warranty business units
  • Prepare and analyze manufacturing and warranty business financial packages
  • Prepare and analyze Inventory and CAPEX reports
  • Assist with quarterly operations reporting package
  • Freight and Other Import Cost Invoice Analysis Ensure all invoice costs are charged to the correct business unit
  • Identify freight invoice anomalies and research with transportation team
  • Research Material Price Variances and resolve anomalies
  • Analyze Manufacturing / Rework / Other Work Orders for accuracy
  • Involved in the process of releasing standard costs
  • Continuous Improvement / Process Redesign
