We are at a critical juncture in our growth, and we have a big vision for the future. The Financial Analyst Intern will be the FP&A representative for various functions at Entrata. This position will report to the Senior Manager of FP&A and will closely partner with senior leadership at Entrata. This will be a part-time internship through the school year (20-30 hours per week), and then will transition to 40 hours a week when school is out.

Requirements

• 0-1 years of financial experience (preferably within SAAS)
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills (including model building)
• Understanding of SAAS and unit economics
• Proven ability to build strong working relationships with senior executives and department heads as an objective and trusted advisor
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Attention to detail and good time management skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sr Manager of FP&A, broader FP&A team, accounting team and business leaders to contribute to our strategic and financial planning processes including preparation of an annual budget, rolling financial forecasts and creation and maintenance of financial planning models, systems and tools
• Provide FP&A support for various functions including business partnering, Sales forecasting, headcount management and ad-hoc analysis
• Manage rolling forecast for supported functions in Adaptive Planning (planning software)
• Communication of monthly, quarterly and annual results including variance analysis to executive management and other business leaders
• Develop monthly financial reporting of key SAAS metrics and business drivers
• Collaboration with business leaders to provide analytical rigor and evaluation of strategic initiatives
• Use Domo to provide data and analytics for business partners
• Know how to interpret and write calculated fields (SQL) in Domo; Create domo cards and dashboards to provide analytical insights to revenue and cost streams
• Maintain and update company instance of Adaptive Planning (FP&A planning software)
• Collaborate with other FP&A team members on cross departmental or ad-hoc projects (i.e. maintain the stock comp, fixed asset/depreciation, New ACV, product/vertical P/L's, commissions forecast, etc.)
