The Spacelabs Financial Analyst Intern role is an outstanding opportunity to apply your education and showcase your skills. This opportunity offers the ability to gain valuable hands-on work experience while supporting key business function during the summer months. This role is ideal for students passionate about corporate finance and eager to understand how financial strategies drive business decisions in a global company. Projects will be based on real business issues and often include interaction with senior leadership. This is a 10-12 week internship based in Snoqualmie, Washington. The hybrid work expectation will require you to work onsite in Snoqualmie 3 or more days per week and 2 days telecommuting. We are seeking local students pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in business, economics, finance, or other applicable focus areas.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, or other applicable focus areas.
  • Motivated and driven with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Works effectively within an office team environment.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Growth mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools, adapt to changing priorities, and thrive in a dynamic business environment.
  • Comfortable seeking clarification, asking thoughtful questions, and engaging with senior leaders to deepen understanding.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and Power BI.
  • Position does not require domestic travel.
  • Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds.
  • Position required to be on site in Snoqualmie.
  • Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use of hands or fingers, talking, hearing, use of computer.
  • Position requires the physical ability to stand/work for up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

  • Learning opportunities will be contributing to day-to-day operations, assisting with projects, and learning how their academic studies connect to real-world applications.
  • Including but not limited to conducting research, providing financial analysis for special projects, and supporting business partners with data requests.
  • Additionally, identifying opportunities to streamline, automate, or improve existing reporting processes.
