Requirements

• 5+ years of financial analyst experience, preferably in healthcare or academic settings.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and Word is required.
• Post Award or Research Administration experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial analytics reports for Research Operations and CHLA leadership.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with hospital policy in all departmental metrics.
• Assist in the preparation of interim and final financial reports, variance analysis, and budgets for the department.
• Perform complex account analysis with minimal supervision.
• Mentor entry-level finance staff.
