About The Position

At Cleveland Clinic Health System, we believe in a better future for healthcare. The Financial Analyst I will prepare, analyze, and report key financial and revenue cycle management (RCM) information, creating both standard and ad hoc reports to support the needs of the enterprise. This role works a hybrid schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with on-site work at Main Campus after onboarding is completed. Cleveland Clinic is a nonprofit multispecialty academic medical center that integrates clinical and hospital care with research and education. Founded in 1921, it has grown to include locations throughout the U.S. and other countries, employing 70,800 caregivers worldwide across 140 medical specialties and subspecialties. It is a 6,500-bed health system with a 173-acre main campus, 19 hospitals, and over 220 outpatient facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field OR Associate’s Degree and two years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED and four years of experience
  • Ability to complete basic analytical, consultative and information support through analysis and report preparation.
  • Knowledge of key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development

Nice To Haves

  • One year of Accounting, Finance, Healthcare, Investment Banking or Management Consulting experience
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Account (CMA) certification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel; and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience with Snowflake and Tableau

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, analyze and communicate key financial information and provide support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and other related issues.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes and budget review for compliance and opportunities.
  • Serve as consultant to all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
  • Complete special projects and duties including providing necessary research, forecasting and conflict resolution.
