About The Position

The Financial Analyst I assists in financial planning, analysis and forecasting, including supporting strategic initiatives, multi-year planning, and return on investment evaluations. This position reports to the Business Analyst Manager.

Requirements

One to three years of finance-related experience required
Budget planning and development, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting required
Analysis of all aspects of organization, including: Revenue, Operating Expense, Labor, Capital Expense, from both a GAAP accounting and cash flow basis required
Experience developing and utilizing data visualization tools, such as Microsoft BI, strongly preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, Statistics or similar field required
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Work with large data sets in tools such as MS Excel and Microsoft BI; experience in MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Knowledge of financial reporting systems and processes
Work within a team, be proactive and show strong attention to detail
Demonstrate a high level of motivation and initiative
Handle multiple projects with competing deadlines and prioritize time sensitive projects

Responsibilities

Prepare and present financial results, including variances and key metrics, and provide forecasting support
Work with business partners to obtain input and produce meaningful supporting financial analyses
Actively participate in the development of the organization's annual and multi-year plans
Work as part of a team to administer and maintain financial reporting systems
Collect, analyze, interpret and summarize data and trends
Support ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis, as required
Contribute to return-on-investment analysis of organization programs, projects and opportunities
Assist in creating, generating and distributing financial reports
