The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) division is seeking a Financial Analyst I – FP&A to join the team. This position will prepare and analyze financial performance data to monitor variances, identify trends and provide improvement recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related quantitative field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of full-time relevant work experience in the US.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Tools.
  • Knowledge in SQL and Power BI preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data driven recommendations.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct variance analysis to understand why actual financial results differ from budgeted or forecasted figures.
  • Assist in the monthly analytical financial forecasts to predict future financial performance and help management anticipate challenges and opportunities.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating standard reporting & analysis to support operational decisions.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing key financial metrics and insights.
  • Leverage data to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights; effectively synthesize data for audiences in and outside of Finance.
  • Prepare standard and ad-hoc models of moderate complexity; prepare routine reports and assist in ad-hoc reporting requests of limited complexity from business leaders.
