About The Position

Hartford HealthCare is looking to hire a Financial Analyst I to join our team. As a Financial Analyst I, you'll play a key part in helping understand and improve how revenue flows through our healthcare system. You'll work closely with a variety of teams to dig into data, spot trends, and make sense of what's changing from month to month. Your insights will help leaders make smarter decisions and keep our financial operations running smoothly. Requirements

• Experience in healthcare or medical revenue cycle.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills (especially pivot tables).
• Comfortable working with data and explaining insights to others.
• A self-starter who enjoys learning and problem-solving.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2.
• Experience with EPIC patient accounting system.
• Experience with Tableau or similar reporting tools.
• Experience with Kodiak RCA Tool.
• BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field OR substituted by 10 years in an analytical role.

Responsibilities

• Analyze accounts receivable and revenue data using the Kodiak RCA tool.
• Prepare, Review and explain month-to-month changes in financial activity.
• Create reports and packages to support monthly close processes.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like denial trends and payment patterns.
• Partner with teams across revenue cycle, managed care, Third Party Reimbursement and IT to improve systems and workflows.
• Share insights and support financial decision-making across the organization.
• Continue growing your skills in finance and healthcare systems.
