Position Overview This role is part of the Global Operations Finance Team. Reporting to the Finance Manager – Operations, this Financial Analyst role will be responsible for providing support to the Santa Clara Operations and Facilities Organizations. This role is results-driven and provides business partner support to create transparency for key spending, milestones, and KPIs while enabling smooth integration into J&J systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum 1-3 years of accounting, finance, or related business experience is required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Proven ability to work independently while appropriately planning, prioritizing, and communicating progress on multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with planning software such as Adaptive or Anaplan
  • Understanding of GAAP accounting and financial statements
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with internal customers

Responsibilities

  • Lead the process for accomplishing rolling forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range forecasts for Santa Clara Operations and Facilities.
  • Provide support to senior business leaders with actuals, analyze variance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to drive forecast execution, accuracy, and actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
  • Effectively collaborate cross-functionally to plan and execute initiatives.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly close responsibilities, including preparation of accruals, variance analysis, reporting, and audit support.
  • Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.
