About The Position

The Financial Analyst for Pharmacy at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania plays a crucial role in optimizing savings and ensuring compliance for the UPHS 340B Drug Pricing Program, which generates significant annual savings. This position involves providing financial analysis to support senior leadership in decision-making and the growth of the retail pharmacy program, while also advising technical staff on 340B operations and compliance across all UPHS entities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Required)
  • MBA or MS is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for daily management of all facets of the 340B Program at HUP, including software maintenance and optimization
  • Reconciliation and determination of 340B Retail Patient Eligibility for all UPHS Retail Pharmacies
  • Responsible to maintain 340B compliance
  • Timely and accurate completion of routine analysis
  • Participate in routine 340B Auditing at HUP sites
  • Daily monitoring of inventory management & purchasing patterns at HUP
  • Accounting support and reconciliation of the HUP Ambulatory Pharmacy Program as assigned. Monitor Results and provide recommendations of areas of concern
  • Responsible for management and completion of special projects as assigned
  • Providing financial support to Senior Business Analyst, Business Manager, Director of Business Operations; CAO, CFO and entity leadership
