About The Position

The Financial Analyst position within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) group at MidFirst Bank is designed to provide critical financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis to senior and executive management across all business units. This role offers significant exposure to the banking industry and is part of the FP&A Analyst Rotation Program, aimed at developing analytical skills and financial acumen.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Economics with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, logical, and math skills
• Working knowledge of accounting and financial concepts

Nice To Haves

• Experience in cost accounting
• Experience in banking

Responsibilities

• Process monthly financial reporting
• Conduct variance research
• Provide support and customer service for end users of FP&A deliverables
• Handle ad hoc reporting requests as needed
