About The Position

CV Resources is seeking an entry-level Financial Analyst to join a client in Salem, OR. This full-time, onsite position focuses on financial forecasting, strategic planning, and delivering data-driven insights to senior leadership. The role is ideal for candidates with a finance degree and offers an opportunity to work extensively with Power BI for reporting and analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of financial analysis experience, ideally in private equity-backed or health/wellness industries.
• Strong expertise in financial forecasting and budgeting.
• Proficiency in Power BI for building reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and complex data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term projections.
• Perform financial modeling and analysis to guide key business decisions, including recapitalization and investment strategies.
• Leverage Power BI to create dynamic reports and dashboards for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Provide actionable insights into business performance and key financial metrics.
• Support strategic planning initiatives with data-driven recommendations to optimize profitability and growth.
• Work closely with accounting, operations, and leadership teams to align financial goals.
• Analyze variances between actual performance and forecasted targets, offering recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare presentations for investors, board meetings, and other external stakeholders.
• Support the finance team with ad hoc projects as required.
