About The Position

This role provides support in financial systems administration as well as financial reporting to all levels of the business, both internally and for external customers. Work includes maintaining and configuring the financial system and developing reports to support business needs. This position will handle confidential and proprietary information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an accounting or finance position requiring the creation of financial reporting and analysis.
  • Experience in accessing data through typical ERP and data warehouse applications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional business / financial analysis skills including attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience within quick service restaurant environments or retail system.
  • Experience with Oracle Financial systems.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the Oracle financial systems for all entities including period end consolidation, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Prepares other ad hoc and/or statutory reporting as required.
  • Develops reports to support financial reporting and analysis; add or modify reports as business needs change and evolve.
  • Maintain internal controls over Oracle financial system with user access controls, segregation of duties, etc.
  • Partner with information technology on Oracle maintenance and troubleshooting issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to other finance/accounting colleagues on Oracle, including reporting, developing forecast and budgets, online account reconciliation tool and other areas as needed.
  • Develop recommendations to leverage Oracle functionality to improve financial close and budget process, financial reporting and create efficiencies.
  • Provide analytical, financial support to management during the budgeting process.
  • May be involved in period end financial reporting package for senior leadership, including analysis of results vs. budget and prior year.
