This role provides a unique opportunity to develop a broad understanding of sales and finance processes while supporting our revenue and commission payout cycle. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to growing their expertise across multiple aspects of the business.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to learn complex concepts quickly.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUPs) and familiarity with other data analysis tools.   Will train under the right circumstances.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities within an ever-changing structure of commission rules and components.
  • Comfortable with the unknown, ability to reason.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an aptitude for clear and professional dialogue.  
  • A proactive, curious mindset with a strong desire to learn and master new skills across sales and finance disciplines.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in commissions, sales operations, or finance is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, calculation, and processing of commissions for external agents and internal sales reps based on established structures.
  • Analyze sales and financial data to ensure accurate commission payouts, resolving discrepancies with precision and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with teams across sales and finance to gain a comprehensive understanding of commission workflows and their impact on overall business operations.
  • Communicate effectively with master agents, subagents, and internal teams to address commission-related inquiries and provide clarity on calculations.
  • Maintain accurate records of commission structures, adjustments, and payments to support transparency and reporting.
  • Create reports and perform analyses to identify trends, improve accuracy, and support decision-making processes.
  • Contribute to process improvements, identifying opportunities for efficiency and innovation within commission workflows.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews by providing accurate data and thorough documentation.
