You will Interact with a broad range of businesses across different industries and with unique capital needs. Work side-by-side with a talented, dedicated staff of senior professionals who will provide broad exposure to the many different considerations affecting directs Assist with evaluating and structuring single-asset transactions for private equity sponsors and institutional investors; Gain hands-on transaction experience by playing an integral role on deal teams from the initial pitch through closing; Develop general corporate finance and diligence skills relevant to raising capital, while building a detailed understanding of key developments in the equity and debt capital markets; The environment at Houlihan Lokey is collegial and entrepreneurial, and, as such, rewards financial analysts with substantial responsibility and interaction with senior-level professionals

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have at least one year of prior investment banking / capital markets or buy-side private equity experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• While teamwork is essential to the firm’s success, creativity and new ideas are encouraged.
• Coursework in or strong knowledge of accounting and finance required
• Strong analytical capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A fundamental understanding of asset-level due diligence, investor considerations, methodologies, and application
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all work products
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to take initiative while working collaboratively within a close-knit team
• Strong organizational, analytical, financial, and computer (MS Office) skills
