Financial Analyst, AP

We are Amazon's Finance Operations organization and responsible for Amazon's strategic vendor Payables. We are responsible for making on-time, accurate payments on behalf of the varying business channels. We are seeking a Financial Analyst (AP) that will work directly with our vendors and finance teams to coordinate on time payments. They will own the relationship with the vendors and provide day to day support to enable timely payments. This position will dive deep into vendor payment data, drive process improvements, standardize processes, and eliminate root-cause defects within existing systems. This role is based in our new headquarters in Northern Virginia (Arlington), where Amazon will invest $2.5 billion dollars, occupy 4 million square feet of energy efficient office space, and create at least 25,000 new full-time jobs.
