About The Position

Aeronix Technologies Group is a dynamic and rapidly growing defense-focused organization specializing in enabling capabilities for the toughest missions. With multiple locations across the United States, an international presence, CAS and GAAP regulations, and private investors, the Finance team is critical to our success. The C6ISR Financial Analyst will support the C6ISR division headquartered in Melbourne, FL. This role will report to the C6ISR Director of Finance in a rapidly growing environment, with US Government, commercial and international content. This role requires a hands-on finance professional with government contractor experience. As the division scales, the Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting implementation and enhancement of financial processes, systems, and controls, providing structure where needed while maintaining the agility required for growth. The individual will collaborate closely with program management, contracts, operations, and FP&A to support proposals and programs. This role is ideal for an analyst who thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, and can partner with multiple functions.

Requirements

  • BA in Finance/Accounting. 5+ years in finance.
  • Experience in government contracting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support financial analysis of program performance, providing early insight into risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
  • Independently support proposal, ECP, and ROM pricing activities.
  • Develop, manage, and oversee program budgets with accountability for cost control and compliance.
  • Perform advanced variance analysis and present financial results to program and functional leadership.
  • Lead preparation and analysis of ETC and EAC forecasts to ensure accuracy and credibility.
  • Establish and maintain charge numbers and financial structures across programs.
  • Perform detailed analytical assessments of actuals and forecasts to support accurate reporting of awards, sales, profit, and cash flow.
  • Extract accounting data for reconciliation, and validation efforts.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement financial process improvement initiatives.
  • Support efforts for external audits.
  • Apply solid working knowledge of FAR, CAS, and GAAP in program financial execution.
