About The Position
The Financial Aid Specialist will assist in the management of assigned Federal/State/Institutional Aid Program(s) and work closely with the primary resource person for these programs. The role involves developing and writing office policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, conducting training sessions for staff, and assisting with the reconciliation of funds. The specialist will also evaluate student financial aid applications, provide counseling to students, and coordinate with various university departments regarding aid regulations. This position is temporary and full-time, requiring a commitment to professional development and effective communication with students and staff.
