A Financial Aid Counselor provides counseling services for potential and current students via email, phone, and office visits. Assists with resolving any issues that are preventing students from receiving aid. Creates estimates to help potential students determine if OCU is the best place for them. Reviews student accounts, resolves any issues with their billing statement, or delays in disbursements. Answers Advisors, Recruiters, Admissions and other OCU staff questions they may encounter while counseling students through the entire financial aid process. Processes student financial aid once they are fully registered for the semester. Adjusts aid to resolve any student issues that may come up in their semester.
