About The Position
The University of Rochester is seeking a Financial Aid Counselor to join the Financial Aid Office. This position involves completing financial aid casework, including need analysis, packaging, verification, appeals, and aid changes, while providing exceptional financial aid counseling. Counselors will assist in the administration of financial aid programs for students, including scholarships, loans, and grants, and will be committed to understanding and meeting the unique needs of customers. The role requires excellent communication skills, time management, and organizational abilities, as well as a commitment to diversity and teamwork. Evening and weekend work may be required.
