About The Position

This fully-remote, part-time (35 hrs/week) Financial Aid Coordinator role is a great entry-level position for someone looking to join a growing company! You must be available to work a late night schedule and some weekends. The ideal candidate must have a high level of patience and a willingness to handle and complete one task at a time in order to create precise and consistent work output.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
One year of customer service experience.
Must have excellent organizational skills and be very detail-oriented.
Strong communication skills verbal and written.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)

Nice To Haves

Previous multi-line telephone experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support outreach efforts to students who have not completed the FAFSA, following established processes and scripts
Enter, update, and maintain student financial aid information and FAFSA data accurately in internal systems.
Enter, update and maintain records for appointment outcomes daily.
Assist with FAFSA Zoom sessions and workshops, helping ensure students are supported throughout the financial aid process.
Send various reports to internal teams
Requires attention to detail and working off of various programs and applications to provide accurate data for critical reporting.
Collaborate with various department groups within UTI
