Requirements

  • Series 65 license or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) required; Life & Health Insurance preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial advisory, client service, or a related role.
  • Proficient in financial planning tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and deliver excellent client service.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, including investments, insurance, retirement, taxes, and estate planning.
  • Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear, concise, and accessible manner
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple priorities effectively with attention to detail in preparing client review materials and managing documentation.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and addressing client needs with analytical skills to resolve client issues and support effective financial planning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, present, and implement tailored financial plans that align with each client’s short- and long-term financial goals.
  • Provide comprehensive advice on a wide range of financial topics, including retirement income, insurance, investments, taxes, and estate planning.
  • Assist clients with the setup and management of annuities, life insurance, and other financial solutions, ensuring their needs are met holistically.
  • Monitor and manage client portfolios, making adjustments as needed to ensure alignment with the client's risk tolerance and evolving financial objectives.
  • Ensure Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) are managed for qualified accounts and handle any issues related to new accounts, transfers, or amendments.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
  • Conduct client review meetings, prepare financial summaries, and provide ongoing updates to ensure clients stay on track to meet their goals.
  • Proactively respond to client inquiries, process servicing requests, and resolve any issues that arise to maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Support business development by sourcing new clients through referrals, centers of influence, and networking opportunities.
  • Engage prospective clients through educational seminars and events, positioning yourself as a trusted resource for financial guidance.
  • Guide prospects through the financial planning process and deliver a high-touch experience that converts them into long-term clients.
  • Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and the firm's internal policies, acting in the best interest of clients at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and correspondence within the firm’s CRM system (RedTail), ensuring transparency and seamless communication with team members.
  • Keep client data up-to-date, documenting all actions and decisions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure client portfolios are updated and aligned with changes in market conditions or client needs, making timely recommendations when adjustments are required.
  • Work closely with senior financial advisors and internal teams to provide support in client service and financial planning initiatives.
  • Contribute to team meetings and share insights on client strategies, staying informed of new trends, products, and best practices to enhance client outcomes.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of pre-appointment materials, client review summaries, and follow-ups to ensure a smooth and efficient client experience.
  • Handle all client transactions and servicing requests with attention to detail and a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
