About The Position

Penn Dental Medicine’s Family Practice (PDFP) is interested in hiring the best and the brightest Financial Administrative Coordinator looking to broaden their skill sets and gain valuable experience in the art and science of the dental field. SMILE…because WE make people smile! Penn Dental Family Practice is comprised of over 35 doctors, 15 dental hygienists, 22 dental assistants, 17 staff AND GROWING! Together, the team works collaboratively to provide multi-specialty care utilizing leading techniques in patient care.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Proficiency with Axium strongly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to interact with all levels as well as a diverse population; excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Previous experience working in a Dental Office strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Present patients with treatment payment options in adhering to and in accordance with the practice guidelines and financial policies.
  • Enter and submit patient payment plans in practice management system, documenting financial consultation outcomes and arrangements.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc reporting of accounts, following up on delinquent and/or treatment plans pending approvals.
  • Provide accurate deposits daily in the University's BEN financial system.
  • Perform other team-supporting duties as assigned.
  • Provide and maintain expertise in innovative solutions focused on the responsible stewardship of Penn Dental Medicine and its community experience.
