About The Position

As the Finance Vice President, the role ensures the financial health, stability, and long-term growth of the business and works closely with the President & COO, in addition to the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies that align with our mission and long-term goals. Significant interaction with external client partners is required, including developing and maintaining strong client relationships. Your expertise will be critical in establishing sound financial policies and procedures that support operational excellence, efficient resource allocation, and transparent financial reporting for the business. In this role, you will interact regularly with executive leaders across Aramark. The successful candidate will exemplify entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrate exceptional leadership in client negotiations, financial controls, and strategic planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, or Finance– MBA preferred.
  • 15 years or more of progressive finance and business development experience.
  • The ability to effectively use deliberate influence strategies to impact, shape, or re-direct the behaviors of others, without formal authority.
  • Proven negotiation skills and experience required.
  • Track record of business growth; strong drive to produce results required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated capability to build relationships and consensus among executives.
  • Prior experience leading and developing a large, decentralized team desired.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, possess sound judgment with the ability to learn quickly while working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting required.
  • Industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic planning process, partnering with all key functional, corporate and line of business leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Engage in critical conversations with client partners to secure, enhance, and maintain financial outcomes for the line of business
  • Lead contract and M&A integration efforts with existing and new partnerships.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing regular reports to the President and Sector leadership team.
  • Provide strategic direction to VP, Investments and Costing team. Provides support VP of Investments through deals of larger size and complexities.
  • Engage in the development of people and succession planning for the functional team and participate in talent planning for the line of business.
  • Create metric driven financial models and proof points that support investment decisions enforcing economic expectations.
  • Review and analyze, from a financial perspective, growth enablement, information technology, sales, and marketing and other internal Initiatives.
  • Delivers accurate, timely and meaningful financial reporting on a consistent basis; concisely communicating financial results, discussing the dynamics impacting financial performance (positive or negative) and contributing to the plan to better leverage the company and its resources.
  • Develops, enhances, and manages relationships with clients across the portfolio.
