About The Position

The Finance Transformation Manager will be part of the Accounting Automation Services team within Amazon's Accounting Technology Group. This role focuses on driving automation across the global accounting organization to minimize manual work and enhance efficiency. The successful candidate will collaborate with accounting and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and flexible solutions, while managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience managing accounting/finance process improvements and/or technology projects.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in finance, accounting or related field or CMA/CPA certification.
• PMP Certification.
• Experience supporting accounting/finance customers to manage expectations and project deliverables.
• Experience managing cross-functional initiatives through influence.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage lifecycle activities from planning to project closing for multiple projects simultaneously.
• Define requirements and collaborate with partner teams to design, implement, and launch scalable solutions.
• Design processes and procedures that scale with business growth in volume and complexity.
• Communicate new or updated programs and processes to leaders and cross-functional organizations.
• Build relationships with system and business owners globally to ensure process excellence.
• Negotiate efficient processes and policies across partner teams to eliminate dependencies and defects.
• Identify key opportunities in processes and develop plans to capitalize on them.
