Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing, mentoring, and developing direct reports or project teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive significant change.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of core accounting and operational finance processes.
  • Proven experience with major ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
  • Familiarity with automation technologies (RPA) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Past experience with Python / SQL from a business facing / finance role is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to executives.
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to present problems and recommendations simultaneously.
  • Ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and deal with ambiguity.
  • Extremely curious and drives issues to root cause.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality around product launches and financial information.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead and drive strategic initiatives aimed at modernizing and optimizing finance controller functions.
  • Develop and articulate a clear vision and roadmap for transforming operational finance functions.
  • Identify, analyze, and redesign processes related to expense management, annual budgeting, P2P workflows, and headcount planning.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and oversee the implementation of new financial technologies and tools.
  • Collaborate with finance leadership, IS&T, and various business functions to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and execute robust change management strategies, including communication plans and training programs.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop direct reports or project teams.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to drive significant change.
