Job Description: The BXCI Finance Transformation Assistant Vice President will support BXCI Finance and Finance leadership in the execution of finance technology and process improvement initiatives. The role is execution-focused and involves close partnership with senior transformation leads, finance stakeholders, and Blackstone Technology & Innovation (BXTI) to help translate business needs into well-defined projects and support delivery through implementation. The role will report through the CFO office for BXCI, but work across with BXCI Finance, BXCI Operations and Blackstone Technology and Innovation (BXTI).

Requirements

  • 6+ years of work experience in operations, technology implementation, or business transformation, preferably among finance or operations functions at an asset manager
  • Foundational understanding of asset management trade booking and operations, particularly across credit products
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, document, and improve complex business processes and systems
  • Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives involving finance, operations, and technology teams
  • Strong process orientation with the ability to document current-state processes and contribute to future-state design
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize effectively, and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into clear insights for stakeholders
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated work ethic, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset

Nice To Haves

  • experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support BXCI Finance and senior transformation leaders in executing finance technology and process improvement initiatives across systems, data, and reporting
  • Assist in translating business ideas into well-defined project charters, business requirements documents (BRDs), and supporting materials
  • Document current-state finance and operations processes through workflows, process maps, and deliverable inventories
  • Partner with Blackstone Technology & Innovation (BXTI) and internal stakeholders to help evaluate, document, and implement appropriate technology solutions
  • Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables across multiple initiatives, escalating issues as appropriate
  • Support analysis of project impacts, including inputs to budget considerations and return-on-investment discussions
  • Contribute to the development of short- and medium-term project roadmaps across BXCI Finance, helping align related initiatives
  • Prepare clear and concise status updates, presentations, and materials to support communication with finance leadership and other stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in process mapping and documentation, including current-state and future-state workflows
