Requirements

  • Currently be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, preferably with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Prior internship/co-op experience with the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
  • Have experience with budgeting and forecasting processes, gathering data, and contributing to projections
  • Have experience with account reconciliation and general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Prior internship / co-op experience assisting in cost analysis and tracking, plus identifying opportunities for efficiency and optimization
  • Experience with Google applications and financial software and systems

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, gathering data and contributing to projections
  • Participate in account reconciliation and general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Assist in cost analysis and tracking, identifying opportunities for efficiency and optimization
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures
  • Support internal and external audit preparations, providing necessary documentation and information
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide financial insights
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by senior finance staff
  • Learn and apply company-specific financial software and systems
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to ethical standards
