About The Position

The Finance Temp will provide short-term support to the Finance Department by assisting with day-to-day accounting and administrative functions. This role is critical in ensuring timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the team during a period of increased workload

Requirements

  • Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support roles required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting systems
  • Familiarity with nonprofit financial operations preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
  • Employment contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check
  • U.S. work authorization required as a condition of employment

Responsibilities

  • Support all accounting-related tasks as assigned (e.g., data entry, reconciliations, reports)
  • Prepare and organize financial documentation and files
  • Respond to internal finance-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with audits, reporting, or funder documentation as requested
  • Provide general administrative support to the Finance team
  • Perform other finance-related duties as assigned
