About The Position

The Finance Tax AVP position at State Street is designed for a tax professional with expertise in tax accounting, reporting, and compliance. Requirements

• 5+ years experience on tax compliance & reporting for U.S multinational corporations
• CPA / MST preferable
• Experience with Onesource tax provision / income tax preferred
• Strong analytical and organization skills
• Understanding of global technical tax knowledge & ASC 740

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Alteryx workflow software

Responsibilities

• Prepare global effective tax rate calculations in accordance with ASC 740
• Prepare interim and year-end income tax disclosures for SEC filings and earnings releases for completeness
• Perform tax technical work and compose documentation to support uncertain tax positions (FIN48), valuation allowances, and unremitted earnings assertions
• Monitor/document tax internal controls and accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley
• Calculate various book to tax adjustments
• Assist with Regulatory Compliance
