FINANCE SUPERVISOR Four Seasons Resort Hualālai is seeking an Finance Supervisor who brings strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality. As a member of our Finance team, you will support critical payroll and accounting functions while contributing to a culture of excellence, integrity, and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Degree or background in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Management, or equivalent training
  • One to three years of experience in an accounting, finance, or payroll‑related role
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, payroll laws, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with month‑end close, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to critically think and problem‑solve
  • A service‑driven mindset that reflects Four Seasons core behaviors:
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as business needs require
  • Ability to meet physical requirements for a primarily sedentary role with occasional movement
  • Commitment to maintaining Four Seasons grooming and professional appearance standards

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate with third‑party processors to ensure accurate and timely bi‑weekly payroll processing for the resort
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll‑related reports
  • Review daily payroll bank transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Record journal entries, manage accruals, and support month‑end close activities
  • Maintain strict adherence to internal controls and assist with internal and external audits
  • Support daily cashiering functions and participate in regular inventory counts
  • Deliver training to managers on payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Complete ad hoc accounting and finance projects as assigned
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with all departments while upholding Four Seasons EmPact standards
