Requirements

  • Proficient in Excel
  • 5+ years’ experience as a staff accountant.

Responsibilities

  • Bank reconciliations for all businesses
  • Assist Controller as needed
  • Maintain and monitor the Accounts Receivable process, ensuring all established company policies regarding customer cash, payments and credit memos are adhered to.
  • Manage routine collection calls as required to ensure customers are aware of past due invoices.
  • Administration of all billing.
  • Prepare journal entries, analyses and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with monthly close processes.
  • Communicate and cooperate with all departments.
  • Attend company meetings as required.
  • Handle all employee and customer issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Display an earnest desire to perform assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Eagerly participate in company sponsored training events.
  • Complete assigned tasks within allotted time frame.
  • Display an aptitude to learn and advance.
  • Interact with customers, employees, and vendors professionally and courteously
  • Promote an atmosphere of cooperation, teamwork, and goodwill with fellow employees.
  • Display honesty in all company related dealings.
  • Assist with other projects as needed
