About The Position

Two Kings Casino is searching for a Finance Specialist to join our team in Kings Mountain, NC. As a finance specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating payroll, inventory/purchasing functions and other duties as assigned to assist all areas within the Finance Department. This includes Revenue Audit, Accounts Payable and General Ledger.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in accounting, compliance, and auditing.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to perform a volume of numerical detail work with speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to understand and follow complex instructions.
  • Analytical, with excellent problem-solving abilities as well as a self-starter
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
  • Must be detail oriented, ability to manage time, as well as ability to multi-task.
  • Must be a team player and ability to collaborate with others.
  • Must adhere to all Catawba Gaming Commission regulations and guidelines.
  • Must adheres to performance standards, company policies and procedures, as they relate to the department.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work an alternate schedule as needed.
  • Ability to work in a loud fast-paced environment (may occasionally be exposed to secondhand cigarette smoke).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and processes bi-weekly payroll.
  • Coordinates vendor processing and reporting by working with all departments and the Gaming Commission to ensure compliance.
  • Assists the Food & Beverage department with their monthly inventory and record cost of sales reconciliation monthly.
  • Look for efficiencies and make recommendations on current processes.
  • Process and reconcile corporate credit cards.
  • Work closely with various departments to share information and identify and resolve any issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
