  • Lead U.S. FP&A : annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly performance reviews; track KPIs and explain variances and key cost drivers.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve cost efficiency, SG&A transparency, and margin performance ; support resource allocation and headcount planning.
  • Co-build the U.S. finance function with the Finance Director: define core processes (planning, reporting, governance), set up operating routines, and support team structure as the function scales.
  • Act as a Finance Business Partner to U.S. leadership (Commercial, Business Development, Corporate Development) and support pricing, investment decisions, and market-entry business cases .
  • Ensure strong compliance and controls : U.S. GAAP, corporate accounting policies, SOX/internal controls, and federal/state requirements.
  • Coordinate month-end/year-end close with shared services/global accounting; support audits and statutory reporting as required.
  • Lead or coordinate U.S. tax compliance (federal/state/local: income, sales, payroll, etc.) ensuring timely preparation and filing.
  • Build dashboards and management reporting; support preliminary cost allocation models for plant/R&D/technical center scenarios.
  • Integrate U.S. planning and reporting into global systems ( SAP / OneStream ) and contribute to global finance transformation and harmonization initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business (or related)
  • 8+ years progressive finance experience, ideally in manufacturing/automotive/technology/industrial environments.
  • Proven experience across FP&A, business partnering, cost management, and compliance/controls (U.S. GAAP; SOX/internal controls).
  • Experience operating in a global/matrix environment with cross-border stakeholders; comfortable working across time zones.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP and consolidation environments (SAP preferred; OneStream exposure a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex datasets; capable of turning numbers into clear decisions for non-finance leaders.
  • High integrity, ownership, and ability to work autonomously in a fast-evolving, start-up-like U.S. context.
  • Fluent English required.
  • MBA and/or CPA/CMA preferred.
