About The Position

ABOUT THE POSITION Columbia Sportswear Finance & Accounting teams oversee the financial health and forward strategy for a portfolio of four global brands. These teams exercise expertise across Compliance, Credit, Financial Planning and Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, and Strategy. Advancing traditional Finance & Accounting functions, the organization is also driving innovation through advanced analytics and automation. Columbia Sportswear’s Financial Planning and Analysis teams support sustainable, profitable growth by delivering accurate financial insights and partnering across the business. As the Financial Analyst II for Supply Chain, you will support the Global Supply Chain FP&A organization across distribution, global operations, and logistics. This role provides analytical and process support to Senior Finance Analysts and Finance Leadership, with a focus on executing core FP&A processes, financial reporting, KPI development, and supporting planning activities. You will develop a strong foundation in FP&A systems, tools, and planning cycles while contributing to standardized reporting, logistics analytics, and financial support related to distribution, cost of goods sold, and supply chain flow. HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE Support senior analysts and finance leadership by preparing and delivering recurring FP&A reporting and analysis Take ownership of assigned process work and recurring reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness Prepare and maintain standard logistics dashboards, KPI reporting, and variance analyses Support forecasting, budgeting, and long‑range planning cycles through data preparation and validation Analyze large and complex data sets to support operational insights and standard KPI development Assist with ad hoc analyses and reporting with a focus on clarity and continuous improvement YOU ARE Detail‑oriented and organized, with a strong focus on accuracy Analytical and comfortable working with large data sets Able to manage recurring deliverables in a deadline‑driven environment Collaborative and dependable, able to support multiple partners and priorities Process‑focused, with interest in learning and improving standard ways of working YOU HAVE Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similarly analytical role Advanced Excel skills, including experience working with large data sets and financial models Experience with data visualization or analyiiitics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Nice to have: Experience with enterprise planning or reporting tools such as IBM Cognos TM1 Exposure to distribution, logistics, supply chain, or cost accounting environments Experience working in a large or complex organization #LI-SW1 This job description is not meant to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities, but constitutes a general definition of the position's scope and function in the company. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similarly analytical role
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience working with large data sets and financial models
  • Experience with data visualization or analyiiitics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with enterprise planning or reporting tools such as IBM Cognos TM1
