About The Position
This internship will provide in-depth exposure to the REIT industry and an opportunity to implement projects that will facilitate meaningful change in the Finance Operations department at an S&P 500 company. In this role you will be asked to assist in executing and reporting on Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance and control testing of internal policies, procedures, and rules that impact the organization's operations and environment. You will support the Finance Operations Management Team in successful planning and implementation of targeted and inter-departmental projects, evaluate data relationships to develop superior reporting and analytics, explore ways to leverage modern technology and analytics, identify process inefficiencies, automate repetitive processes, assist in training the Finance Operations team, participate in regular meetings, track portfolio activity, and create ad-hoc SQL queries and reports.
