About The Position

As the Finance Manager, OEM USCA, you will perform analysis for long-range planning and strategy development and recommend actions to improve profitability and achieve long-term growth. You will become a strategic, valued partner to the Automotive Coatings Commercial team and report to the Finance Director, Automotive Americas. Requirements

  • Bachelor's in finance, accounting, economics or similar required.
  • 5+ years of finance experience within FP&A.
  • HFM and Oracle knowledge
  • Prior business partnering experience.
  • Advanced Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and financial modeling skills
  • experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial data and insight for preparation of annual budgets and BSR, and monthly financial analysis.
  • Visit customer sites to gain an understanding of the key products and processes within the customer paint shops and build relationships with the OEM plant PPG site teams.
  • Build and maintain interactive economic models that support "What If" scenarios of material/process changes and provide valuable insights through Business case analysis.
  • Capture and analyze all market, competitive, and economic data to support strategy development, new product planning, and analysis of new business opportunities, including acquisitions, joint ventures, etc.
  • Develop and follow key success factors to assure business strategy is successfully executed.
  • Support PPG-Kansai (PKAF) joint venture President and global finance director for PKAF board reporting.
