The Department of Psychiatry is looking for a highly motivated, organized, self-starter to lead a multifaceted core business line. The Finance Manager is responsible for budgeting and financial data analysis in collaboration with the Director of Finance and Administration (DFA) and Associate Director of Finance and Administration (ADFA) including oversight of the department’s budgets and financial forecasting, including the preparation of business analyses and pro formas. The Finance Manager will work closely with the Division Administrators to review expenditures and provide regular updates and reporting to department leadership related to division financial health as well as overall departmental financial status. The Finance Manager has decision making authority and is responsible for regular financial reporting and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures of the University, Department, and federal and other funding sources. The Finance Manager and their team will be available to collaborate with the five division administrators in support of budgeting, financial analysis, special projects, accounting, and auditing. The Finance Manager is responsible for working with CU MEDICINE, UCHealth, CHCO, and other funding agencies for the creation, management, and amendments of external contracts as directed by and in collaboration with the Department Administrators and Division Administrators. This position will provide formal supervision to at least 3 finance and accounting professionals and will also oversee the procurement team with direct supervision of the procurement lead.
